Thanos is a Chrome extension that closes a random half of your open browser tabs when you click the gauntlet in its popup. The tab you're currently viewing is always kept.
It uses an unbiased Fisher–Yates shuffle, so every tab (except your active one) has an equal chance of being closed. Exactly half of the remaining tabs are dusted.
None. Thanos requests zero permissions. It reads only tab IDs in order to close them — it never sees your tab titles, URLs, browsing history, or any personal data.
